He reckons Chris Wood has joined Bristol City on season long loan ( connection here Derek McInness Baggie legend)
I am gutted for us if its true! Think he could have got the goals to get us up if he had stayed.

I'm not too bothered- his goals have dried up and has looked a very poor player recently though he will certainly need replacing.

already in transfer talk!

not suprised he didn't come back! he was on the bench a lot and I'm guessing he wanted more game time! shame as he was a decent player to have on the bench!

thanks for the service chris kro

So he stayed as long as we were in Europe, glory hunter IMO.

Left when the going got tough, not bothered to fight for his place in the team.

I thank him for all his goals, gave me some great memories in Europe but his all round game is pretty poor.

Doesn't this just show the limitations of the loan system.

Players should be loaned out for the season so they cannot go to more than one club.

I know it's really disappointing, but if I was a manager I wouldn't want my player to get too attached to one team.

reminded me of Bendtner, perhaps his attitude and opinion of himself is similar to Bendtners as well.Cant knock him for the goals he has scored and Bruges will live with all of us,but clearly he sees his future at WBA and expected to be an automatic pick for a championship side.Sorry Chris there is always the hard work to do..

They should do their homework as if it were a signing and take their chance...same as if they get injured it is the risk you have to take.

signing a loanee would then take longer than we do to sign a player....

i was about to post the same response. That is exactly my point.

It's too easy at the moment for either of the two clubs or the player to walk away from the loan agreement after three months.

Hacked off with Blues, apparently, for not being given enough starts despite being our leading scorer. Shouldn't have that problem with Bristol City! Pity. Will be missed.

I put this on the other Chris Wood post. I work in West Brom and some of the lads told me he was going there but as part of the deal that brings Maynard to boggies, watch this space. Also McInnes has his boggie conections!!!!!!

surely that's the whole point of a 3 month agreement - either side can decide not to renew...

That's my point. It's too easy to walk away. Needs to be more commitment to the loan from all parties. Just an opinion.
